Tool have shown a fondness for playing shows in the fall in recent years and 2016 will find the band playing three dates in October. The group just announced a trio of shows in Salt Lake City, Denver and Little Rock.

The Oct. 24 show will take place at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets will go on sale this Friday (June 10) at 10AM MT at all Smith's Tix locations and at the venue box office.

After that, the band will head down the road to Denver for an Oct. 26 show at the Pepsi Center. Tickets for that show will go on sale this Friday (June 10) at 10AM MT via Altitude Tickets.

And finally, on Oct. 28 in Little Rock, Ark., the band will play Verizon Arena. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10AM CT via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

It should be noted that there will be a very limited number of special VIP event tickets available for all three Tool shows for members of the Tool Army. The VIP pre-sale begins this Wednesday (June 8) at 10AM PT and is only available to members of the Tool Army fan club. The VIP package include one ticket to the show, admission to a VIP event at the venue, early entry, a live Q&A session with Adam Jones (or potentially another band member), a VIP merchandise pack, early purchasing and discounts on Tool merchandise items, a photo opportunity and light refreshments.

Tool also want to alert fans to the fact that Tool and the Tool Army store have moved to a new platform and all current memberships will be honored, but due to security reasons, all existing Tool Army members will need a new password to proceed before purchasing pre-sale tickets, so be sure to check e-mail and spam boxes for an e-mail with info to reset your password. The band has been working on music over the past year, but it's been a slow process. As of yet, there has not been an announcement of when we might see a new album from the group.
