Top 20 Songs: Week of Aug. 4-10, 2013

Five Finger Death Punch
SKH Music

It’s a full-on tussle at the top spot of the Loudwire Top 20 Countdown, but so far Five Finger Death Punch have been able to hold off Stone Temple Pilots. Five Finger Death Punch’s ‘Lift Me Up’ spends its third consecutive week at No. 1, while Stone Temple Pilots’ ‘Out of Time’ is going on its fourth straight week at No. 2.

As for the rest of the Top 5, Avenged Sevenfold‘s ‘Hail to the King’ makes the biggest jump of the week on our countdown, moving from No. 9 to No. 3. Their ascension means that Nine Inch Nails‘ ‘Came Back Haunted’ slips back from No. 3 to No. 4 and Beware of Darkness spends its third straight week at No. 5 with ‘Howl.’

On the downward slide, Deftones‘ ‘Swerve City’ drops from No. 4 to No. 10 on the countdown. Meanwhile, Papa Roach‘s ‘Leader of the Broken Hearts’ and Rob Zombie‘s ‘We’re an American Band’ make their debuts on the countdown at No. 18 and No. 20, respectively. Their arrival means we say farewell to Halestorm‘s ‘Here’s to Us’ and Imagine Dragons‘ ‘Radioactive.’
