Top 20 Songs: Week of July 2-7, 2012

In this week’s edition of Loudwire’s Top 20 Countdown the Danish metalers of Volbeat top the list with their track ‘Still Counting,’ which they decided to release as a single earlier this year even though it’s off of their 2008 album ‘Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood.’

Last week’s chart toppers Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators clocks in at No. 2 with their tune ‘You’re a Lie’ off of the album ‘Apocalyptic Love.’

The Offspring jump a few spot to make their mark at No.3 with their latest single ‘Days Go By,’ while Shinedown comes in at No. 4 with their song ‘Unity’and Linkin Park drops a spot to round out the Top 5.

Other bands who hold strong on the list include Godsmack’s cover of ‘Rocky Mountain Way.’ Soundgarden’s ‘Live to Rise’ and ‘Coming Down’ by Five Finger Death Punch.

The members of Halestorm are no strangers to Loudwire’s Top 20 songs as their latest single, ‘I Miss the Misery’ off of their album ‘The Strange Case Of…,’ makes its debut on the list, as does Aranda’s latest track ‘Satisfied.’
