There's a new No. 1 on the Loudwire Top 20 Countdown, but it's not Stone Temple Pilots. The band has been knocking on the door to the top spot for several weeks, but remains in a holding pattern at No. 2 with 'Out of Time' while being leapfrogged by Five Finger Death Punch's collaboration with Rob Halford, 'Lift Me Up.' This new No. 1 jumps from No. 3 to the top spot this week.

Five Finger Death Punch's ascension means that Pop Evil finally relinquished their stranglehold on the top spot. The band's chart-topper 'Trenches' slides back to No. 3 this week. Elsewhere in the Top 5, Nine Inch Nails' 'Came Back Haunted' inches up a spot to No. 4 and Beware of Darkness' breakout hit, 'Howl,' stakes its claim on the No. 5 position.

Five Finger Death Punch's two-spot climb ties with Three Days Grace's 'Misery Loves Company' as the biggest gainer this week. The Three Days Grace track jumps to No. 16 to No. 14. Technically though, the real biggest mover is Avenged Sevenfold's 'Hail to the King.' However, since the song wasn't part of the countdown last week, its debut at No. 9 makes it one of the biggest entries of the year. Along with Avenged Sevenfold, the other debut this week is Devour the Day's 'Good Man,' which settles in at No. 20.

On the downside, Volbeat are taking their last gasps on the Loudwire Top 20 countdown as 'Hangman's Bodycount' falls back to No. 16 from No. 11 last week. Saying farewell to the Top 20 this week are Shinedown's 'I'll Follow You' and Stone Sour's 'Do Me a Favor.'
