Top 20 Songs: Week of May 6-12, 2012

Loudwire Radio’s Top 20 for the week has a new No. 1 single, as Halestorm have claimed the top spot with ‘Love Bites (So Do I) off of their latest album ‘The Strange Case Of…’

In addition to topping Loudwire Radio's chart, Halestorm also made history as the first female-fronted band to top the national Active Rock airplay chart this week. Last week’s No. 1 on the Loudwire Radio list, ‘No Resolution’ by Seether, drops two spots, while Soundgarden’s ‘Live to Rise’ off of the ‘Avengers Assemble' compilation moves up to No. 2.

Theory of a Deadman retain their spot for another week in the Top 5, as ‘Hurricane’ comes in at No. 4. Chevelle’s ‘Hats Off to the Bull’ stays steady at their No. 5 spot. Linkin Park made a huge jump last week with 'Burn It Down' advancing from No. 19 to No. 7, and this week they move up one spot to No. 6.

Newcomers to the list include Hurt’s ‘How We End Up Alone’ and the Offspring’s ‘Days Go By.’
