Top 40 Rock and Metal Songs – March 2012


Shinedown‘s ‘Bully’ is No. 1 on the list of our Top 40 Rock and Metal Songs of March 2012, the same spot where it stood in February’s list. Later this month, Shinedown will begin their headlining spot on the 2012 Avalanche Tour, taking Adelitas WayNew Medicine and Art of Dying with them for the ride.

Other notable songs this month include Five Finger Death Punch‘s ‘Remember Everything,’ which climbs up to No. 2 this month, Slash‘s ‘You’re a Lie,’ Halestorm‘s ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’ and Foxy Shazam‘s ‘I Like It.’ A few heavier metal tunes also made the list, including Mastodon‘s ‘Dry Bone Valley,’ and High on Fire‘s track ‘Fertile Green,’ which we recently gave a five-star review.
