Trivium are back in full-on heavy mode with their latest single, "Beyond Oblivion," and fans get an up-close look at just how crushing the new song can be in their video for the track.

Director John Deeb puts the focus on the performance for the new video, utilizing bright backing lights for effect and giving viewers quick cutting close-ups on each of the band members and their playing. This allows for a closer view of what the band's new drummer Alex Bent is doing behind the kit, shows the ferocity with which Corey Beaulieu and Paolo Gregoletto attack their instruments and provides you with the full impact of Matt Heafy's scream as his full intensity is felt.

"Beyond Oblivion" is featured on the band's 2017 album, The Sin and the Sentence, which has already spawned the title track lead single, "The Heart From Your Hate," "Betrayer" and "Thrown Into the Fire." The "Beyond Oblivion" video is just the latest standout from one of Trivium's deepest quality albums to date.

After a bit of a break in the action, Trivium will return to the road this weekend. They start a European trek in the Netherlands on March 10, with Power Trip and Venom Prison joining them on a majority of the tour stops. See the band's full touring schedule here.
