Trivium vocalist Matt Heafy is making his YouTube channel a must visit, as he's recently been performing a series of cover songs and posting them online for fans to check out. It's been an eclectic selection of songs that Heafy has chosen, with the latest being his take on the oft-covered Elvis Presley classic, "Can't Help Falling in Love."

The setup is simplistic -- Heafy in a room surrounded by some Trivium memorabilia with a sole acoustic guitar letting his voice carry the performance. As you can hear, Heafy's deeper register resonates over the song with his clear enunciation falling in line with the original. It's yet another solid showcase for the singer, who has not always been known for his clear singing voice.

In recent weeks, Heafy has taken on Radiohead's haunting "Exit Music (For a Film)," Misfits' "Saturday Night," the Johnny Cash version of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt" and Roy Orbison's "In Dreams." Stay tuned to Heafy's YouTube channel here to see if he continues to cover other songs for fans.

Trivium are currently off the road and have a bit of a break before things fire up again. The band is expected to return to the road in Europe in August. See their scheduled dates here.
