When the European punk rockers of Turbonegro come to town, it’s guaranteed to be a night of nonstop partying. Last week, the band rocked out in New York City with Dirty Fences at Irving Plaza.

After the crowd sang “Ohhhhh, Ohhhh, I got erection!” Turbonegro graced the stage as the front row donned sailor hats with the band’s name on it. The Duke of Nothing himself, aka vocalist Tony Sylvester, rocked the house with his bandmates as they kicked off their set with ‘Just Flesh’ and ‘All My Friends Are Dead.’

Fans sang their hearts out to other favorites such as ‘Rock Against Ass,’ ‘We’re Gonna Drop an Atom Bomb,’ ‘F.T.W.’ and of course ‘I Got Erection,’ among many other notable tunes.

Fans from all over the U.S. attended the show and after nine studio albums and well over 20 years of making music together, it’s evident that Turbonegro are as vital as ever.

Brooklyn based band Dirty Fences warmed things up with a groovy performance which got the long night of partying off to a great start.
