Massachusetts metalcore mavens Unearth will unleash their sixth studio album 'Watchers of Rule' Oct. 28 via eOne Music. The disc was produced by Mark Lewis (DevilDriver, Whitechapel), who also helmed the band's 2011's 'Darkness in the Light.'

Just prior to the album's release, Unearth will kick off a North American tour with Darkest Hour, Carnifex, Origin, I the Breather and Black Crown Initiate. The 'Hell or High Wattage' trek launches Oct. 13 in Montreal. Unearth will also play Philip Anselmo's Housecore Horror Film Festival in Austin, Texas on Oct. 24.

In an interview with Metal Assault, vocalist Trevor Phipps talks about the delays in getting the album finished. "It’s been a whole scheduling conflict, and just one thing after another delayed our album," explained the vocalist. "But it’s been done for a while and it’s being mixed right now, finally. It was probably the hardest record for us to make, and we never really had a lot of time because of the delays we had on our side. It got kind of messy."

Phipps continues, "It was a difficult record to put together but by the end of it, I think the songs were all there and it’s a f--king awesome record. So we’re all happy it’s about to finally come out."

Before the North American tour, Unearth will be playing about a month's worth of shows in Europe before wrapping up with a South African date. For their full tour schedule, go here.
