The masked miscreants of the West Coast Deuce and his guitarist Jimmy Yuma dropped by New York to do some press and wreak some havoc. When Loudwire got the chance to tag along to document their trip, we surely couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

You may know Deuce at the former frontman of Hollywood Undead, but the vocalist has started fresh and is gearing up to release his debut album, ‘Nine Lives,’ which is set to debut on April 24.

After a 40 minute flight delay at New York’s dreaded LaGuardia airport, Deuce and Yuma arrived at the SiriusXM studios in high spirits, where they were set to talk to Cane of Octane about the upcoming record. First however, they decided to have a little fun. Since we had some time to kill before the radio interview, they donned their masks while smoking it up in “No Smoking” areas, posing with street vendors and taking some time to smell the New York City flowers.

On the cab ride over to their next stop, the very funny Jimmy Yuma gave our surprisingly chatty cabbie some Korean money he found in his wallet -- luckily it was only worth about 87 cents.

After passing through the hectic streets of Times Square, we finally made it to our destination, Hard Drive Radio, where we met one of the coolest people ever, OG Roxy (that’s Orginal Gangsta Roxy with a “y”). After their interview at Hard Drive, OG Roxy, who looked like a way cooler and younger version of Betty White, told us all about her days in hip-hop and partying with rap giants such as 2Pac and Biggie -- not to mention she’s besties with Snoop Dogg, who she knew since he was “a puppy.”

After Hard Drive, Deuce and Yuma went back to their management’s office for some more interviews before embarking on a flight home to L.A.

Deuce and his crew will shortly begin their stint The Fight-To-Unite tour, which also features Blood on the Dance Floor, Brokencyde, Polkadot Cadaver and many others. For a full list of tour dates and cities, go here.
