One of the more surprising beefs in recent memory kicked off earlier this month when Insane Clown Posse's Shaggy 2 Dope attempted to dropkick Fred Durst during Limp Bizkit's performance at the Rock Allegiance festival in Camden, NJ. According to Dope's partner in ICP though, it was simply a goof blown out of proportion by the media.

“Well, you know, just wild style," Violent J tells the Orange County Register. "Fred Durst is a friend of ours, you know what I mean? Just having fun. Things look so crazy when they get into the newswire. He obviously threw it as a fake thing. If he actually wanted to hit him I don’t think he would have thrown a pro wrestling dropkick. It probably would have looked a lot more serious and ruthless.”

Back in 2012, ICP and Durst collaborated on a cover of AMG's "Bitch Better Have My Money."
