Jam-rock-fusion-jazz-blues band Volto! are heading out on tour! With Tool's Danny Carey holding down the foundation of the band from behind his drumkit, Volto! will surely be a powerhouse project, and the act will be playing select U.S. cities in August.

Tool fans have been foaming at the mouth for a new album since '10,000 Days' was released in 2006. Although new material is currently being written by Tool, Maynard James Keenan's side project Puscifer has been his main priority as of late, putting out a total of eight releases since '10,000 Days- hit the shelves, with yet another record, 'All Re-Mixed Up' set for an Aug. 27 release. Carey is now enveloped in Volto! and will reveal the band's debut album, 'Incitare,' which was recorded in a live setting onto actual tape, on July 23.

"To get the performance and overdubs onto tape, they dusted off an old Studer A827 gold 24-track machine," reads a Volto! press release about the band's debut record. "It might have taken nearly a decade to get to this point, but once the ball was rolling (and custom Neve faders set), things proceeded at a rather quick pace."

Potential fans will have a bit of time to take in 'Incitare' before the band hit the road in early August. Volto! will begin their string of dates on Aug. 3 in Camden, N.J. and finish up in Chicago on Aug. 10. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
