One of the most anticipated treks of the summer is the Warped Tour and this year’s lineup was eclectic to say the least. Both the bands and the fans headed to Nassau Coliseum this past weekend to enjoy the sweltering goodness that was the New York stop of the tour.

With nine stages of music and dozens of bands, it’s no wonder why fans flock in by the thousands every year. Among the hard rock and metal bands that hit the main stage were Black Veil Brides and Bring Me the Horizon.

The day also included great sets from such bands as letlive and the Black Dahlia Murder, who ripped through the Monster Stage. Other acts like August Burns Red and blessthefall took over the Kia Soul Stage, while Stick to Your Guns headlined the Domo Stage.

There is very little separation between musicians and fans, which makes the festival a memorable experience. Warped Tour is a celebration of a fusion of musical genres and It’s not hard to see why it’s been going strong for nearly 20 years.
