As you may already be aware, Slipknot's Corey Taylor has lent his guttural screams to more than just the recording studio. The famed frontman and prideful Doctor Who fan took a trip across the pond to lay down some ferocious screams that would wind up emanating from the menacing alien warlord Fisher King.

Fans can now revel in the behind the scenes footage of Taylor on the set of the hit series as he gives some insight into his fandom and a bit of a story behind what he's there to do. He explains how he was a fan from early on in his life and that his son is a fan of the show too. Watch as Taylor geeks out about being on set and marvels at everything he's only previously seen on a screen.

This all came to be when, as reported by The Mirror, “Production got in touch with Slipknot because they heard Corey and the band love the show. They gave them a VIP tour and asked if Corey wanted to record his famous scream. He agreed instantly and was made up about it.”

The episode was the fourth of the season, which aired Oct. 3 on BBC America. All the Slipknot fans who want to get to know a little more about the show have their work cut out for them considering the show spans 26 seasons since its inception in 1963. The current installment of the series is in its ninth season, which still requires a significant amount of catching up, but the singer certainly says its worth it.

No stranger to the camera, Taylor and the rest of the band recently released a music video for their song "XIX" off .5: The Gray Chapter. The song is a ballad by Slipknot's standards and the video is equally moody and morose. If you decide to check it out, just make sure you're not on the clock because the video is absolutely NSFW.
