While Marilyn Manson has been quite prominent on the music side over the last few years, he's also been adding to his acting resume as well. Manson's latest on screen appearance comes in a new film called Let Me Make You a Martyr.

Indiewire reports that the film centers on an abusive father (Sons of Anarchy's Mark Boone Junior) who hires a hitman named Pope (Manson) to kill his rebellious adopted son and daughter (Niko Nicotera and Sam Quartin). We originally reported on Manson taking the hitman role back in the spring of 2015, but you can now watch the trailer for the film above. As can be seen, Manson is not one to be trifled with as the camera zooms in for a close up with the flames of fire going up around Manson in the background. The film is set to premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal next month.

Manson has a diverse line of credits on his acting resume, having appeared in TV comedies like Eastbound and Down and Californication as well as a notable role on the final season of FX's Sons of Anarchy. He's also made big screen appearances in films like Lost Highway, Party Monster and Wrong Cops.

The musician will return to the road this summer as part of a major run with Slipknot. Dates can be found here.
