Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford recently sat down and discussed the most recent addition to the Priest discography, 'The Chosen Few.' Posted on the official Judas Priest YouTube page, the wailing legend speaks about the concept of 'The Chosen Few' and his personal friendships with the bands that contributed to it.

Although there are many Judas Priest compilation albums, 'The Chosen Few' took a different and unique direction, which celebrates the legendary bands who love Judas Priest just as much as Priest themselves. Members of Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Slayer, Metallica and other metal juggernauts were asked to choose their favorite Priest song. The tracks selected became 'The Chosen Few,' offering incredible tracks along with a greater understanding of Priest's influence on metal.

"It's really fascinating to kind of get into the head of Ozzy Osbourne," stated Halford. "There are so many wonderful friends on this 'Chosen Few' release, but it is very special to us because of that connection. We know practically all of these people as good friends, which is what you become having spent decades together making music."
