Steel Panther guitarist Satchel has doubled down to plug the limited edition, controversially-titled "Pussy Melter" effect pedal, which is available to consumers between now and Oct. 1.

In a new video on the band's Facebook page, Satchel plugs into, performs on and gets oral about the first edition of the pedal. The clip begins with the guitarist discussing the difference between the model he's playing and the one being sold. And, of course, he doesn't hold back from NSFW commentary.

"What you're looking at right here is the first prototype of the Pussy Melter," he says. "It does have different colored knobs because we were trying to decide which knobs looked the coolest. We decided that this was the closest to the actual color of a vagina."

He demonstrates the various tones of the distortion the pedal is capable of and points out the toggle switch that guitarists can use to change from a classic rock sound ("Moist") to a more ripping metal sound ("gushing") ... and he stands by the name of the pedal.

"It's hot enough to melt pussy," he says. A couple lick demonstrations later, he reiterates, "It's gonna melt your pussies," then adds, "It's an insane pedal. It was designed by top scientists at NASA and MIT in conjunction with other scientists at Hustler and Playboy."

The last double-entendre in the short clip is more phallic. "Picture it all with the pink knobs," he says. "I know how much you like the pink knobs."

Earlier this summer, a petition was started after Satchel began promoting a "Pussy Melter" tone patch. TC Electronic eventually stopped advertising the patch in response, but the "Pussy Melter" name has been resurrected with the new guitar pedal.
