Get ready to be fascinated and totally creeped out at the same time. We've all imagined what our favorite late and legendary rock musicians would look like in the present day, but with the use of advanced aging technology, we can actually see it for real.

Sachs Media Group recently collaborated with Phojoe, a company that specializes in photo manipulation, including artificially aged pictures for individuals who have been missing for long periods of time. We've all seen sketch artists and digital graphic experts age missing persons and on-the-lam fugitives on television for decades, but these aged rock star photos are on an entirely different level.

Posted over at Ultimate Classic Rock, you'll recognize each musician in their prime, but can you wrap your head around what they'd look like today? Those aged by Phojoe's technology include John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Mama Cass Elliot, Janis Joplin, Keith Moon and Dennis Wilson. Along with the aged photos, University of Massachusetts professor Dr. Reebee Garafalo and author Elijah Wald offer their expert opinions on what each musician's future would have entailed if they had not passed away.

“Through this series of images, we hope to honor them and evoke some of the magic they brought to millions of their fans,” says Sachs CEO Ron Sachs. “Even as we ponder what wonderful new contributions they still could have made.”
