Better get warmed up! That's because we've teamed up with Whiskey Myers to exclusively bring you the premiere of the band's foot-stomping, head-nodding new track "Frogman."

The song, which was co-written by Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson, is featured on the band's upcoming album, Mud, and you can just feel the groove dripping right off of every fuzzed out guitar lick. Meanwhile, vocalist Cody Cannon has the perfect whiskey-soaked voice to deliver the bluesy sass this song deserves.

Cannon tells us, "I was hanging out with a couple of my Navy Seal buddies, Pete Scobell and Rob Myers. Those guys humble me every time I am around them. I had the idea to write a song talking about their lives for a while and when Rich [Robinson] and I got together, it came out pretty rockin’."

These blue collar Texas rockers are starting to garner some attention, having spent time on the road with Shinedown and Halestorm this summer. They have a full slate of tour dates on the horizon as well, with shows booked into December. You can keep up with the band's touring at this location.

As for the song, if you like what you hear, you might want to check out their album as well. Whiskey Myers' Mud album arrives Sept. 9 through Thirty Tigers. The album is available to pre-order through their PledgeMusic page or at iTunes. And check out a little bit more about the making of Mud in the video below the "Frogman" player.
