Deathcore outfit Whitechapel released their latest self-titled disc on June 19. At the end of May Loudwire premiered their new track ‘I, Dementia’ and now the band has followed that up by releasing a new video for the song.

The video was filmed as part of the Scion AV Project and directed by David Brodsky who has also worked on videos for All That Remains and The Devin Townsend Project.

According to guitarist Ben Savage, “You don’t necessarily have to be a metalhead to appreciate this song.” With a slower pace throughout, listeners can really dig in to how the elements of the song fit together and how Phil Bozeman’s vocals play off of the music.

Music fans may notice the nod Whitechapel gave to the White Stripes in their new video for 'I, Dementia.' The color schemes and design seem to play off of their popular mind-bending 'Seven Nation Army' video.

Whitechapel are currently out on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival with Slipknot, Slayer, Anthrax, and more. The tour kicked off yesterday (June 30) in San Bernardino, Calif. and runs through Aug. 5.
