Win a P.O.D. ‘Murdered Love’ Prize Pack

With P.O.D. returning after a brief hiatus and their new disc ‘Murdered Love’ due out on July 10, fans already have lots to be excited about but to up the ante Loudwire is giving away a killer P.O.D. prize pack.

One lucky grand prize winner will receive an 12x12 limited edition lithograph autographed by the band, in addition to an autographed ‘Murdered Love’ disc and a P.O.D. t-shirt. Five runner-up winners will receive an autographed copy of ‘Murdered Love.’

‘Murdered Love’ shows P.O.D. returning to form after tabling the band for a few years due to building frustrations with the business. Frontman Sonny Sandoval recently explained to Loudwire, “I think for me in my heart of hearts, I put it [music] down and I was willing to put it down forever. I just got tired of the industry and how it just kind of becomes business, show after show.” Luckily for fans, he was drawn back to his passion for making music.

‘Murdered Love’ delivers everything you’d expect from P.O.D., including a handful of guest appearances. The disc finds P.O.D. joining up with Sen Dog of Cypress Hill, Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm and Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. Jasta contributed vocals on the track ‘Eyez.’ Sandoval explained that Jasta was the first voice that came to mind for the song, “We’ve known Jamey for a long time, he’s a good cat. He was just awesome.”
