Finnish metal group Wintersun made their return to their New York fans for a headlining gig with support from Fleshgod Apocalypse, Arsis and Starkill.

Wintersun graced the East Coast while supporting Eluveitie on tour last year and they rocked a packed house at Irving Plaza this time around. Their fans sang and belted out lyrics word for word during songs such as ‘Starchild,’ ‘Death and Healing’ and ‘Beyond the Dark Sun,’ among others. The group's passion onstage is a reflection of their fervent fans.

The Italian metalers of Fleshgod Apocalypse are wild and have unrelenting presence onstage. They are currently on tour in promotion of their new record ‘Labyrinth’ and there’s no doubt their fanbase here in North America will continue to grow. Watch out for them, as Fleshgod Apocalypse should be back headlining shows of their own.

Other supporting acts included technical melodic death metal band, Arsis who got some love from the New York crowd, as well as the Chicago based act Starkill, who kicked off the night. For a full list of remaining tour dates where you can catch all of these bands, go here.
