- Thrice are going strong on To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere, but they've started thinking about new music. Singer Dustin Kensrue told OC Weekly that the band is writing new material, with plans for a new disc to arrive in summer 2018.

- Beartooth shot a live video for their song "Sick of Me" during a hometown show in Columbus, Ohio. See the clip here.

- Arch Enemy have covered the Skitslickers punked up track "The Leader (of the F--kin' A--holes)." Take a listen here and get ready for the band's Will to Power album coming Sept. 8.

- Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis are back together in L.A. Guns, and they've set an Aug. 13 release for their new album, The Missing Piece. Watch the video for their new single "Speed" here.

- Swedish black metal vets Marduk are heading stateside in August and September for a headlining tour. Incantation and Abysmal Dawn will join the group on the run, which kicks off Aug. 18 in Los Angeles. See the dates here.

- Finnish folk metallers Korpiklaani will issue their first-ever concert disc, Live at Masters of Rock, on Aug. 25. The band has just unleashed a video for the single "Pillli on Pajusta Tehty" that you can see here. Pre-orders are being taken at this location.

Though Heaven's Basement are no more, the Cruel Knives (featuring Heaven's Basement's Sid Glover and Rob Ellershaw), are planning to release their new EP Side One on July 28. Head here to pre-order the disc and listen to the single "Kill the Messenger" here.
