Within Reason, ‘Fight For You’ – Exclusive Lyric Video Premiere
Within Reason are finalizing the release details on their next album, Battlefields: Life, Love & War, but they do have some new music to share. The rockers are teaming up with Loudwire to exclusively premiere the new lyric video for "Fight for You."
The Alabama-based trio spent three years supporting their After the Crawl album and after coming off successive tours with Seether and Hinder, the band hit the studio energized to record new tracks. That last tour with Hinder also forged a bond that would carry over to the studio as Hinder's Cody Hanson and Marshal Dutton served as co-producers on their upcoming disc. "While on tour with Hinder last winter, we played Cody and Marshal some acoustic demos and it all just clicked right away," says bassist David Koonce. "Ideas started flowing almost immediately. We were looking for a producer for the record and we weren't sure who to go with. After spending some time with the guys from Hinder on the road for a few weeks, it all just made sense for us to record with them. I couldn't be happier with the music."
As for "Fight for You," the track is an anthemic rocker that's sure to be a favorite at concerts. Koonce tells us, "'Fight For You,' along with the rest on the new songs from Battlefields: Life, Love & War, has pushed us as songwriters. This album is about struggles in all aspects of life. 'Fight For You' starts with a message about our drive as we continue to chase our dreams as artists."
Hinder's Cody Hanson adds, "We knew Fight For You was special the moment we heard the acoustic demo. We can’t wait for the rest of the world to hear it. This is a great band and we’re honored to be a part of their next chapter."
As stated, "Fight for You" will be featured on a new Within Reason disc titled Battlefields: Life, Love & War that's expected to drop this summer. Though official release details for the album are still forthcoming, you can pick up "Fight for You" beginning today. The song is now available via Amazon, Google Play and Spotify.
