X Japan have been one of the biggest rock acts in Asia, and now they're giving back to the continent that has helped them sell 30 million copies of their albums. The Japanese hard rockers have set up a charity auction to help victims of the ongoing flooding in Thailand.

If you're not familiar with X Japan, they have been a dominant force in Asia for 25 years. Lead singer Toshi has one of the best voices in rock music, while the band, led by drummer/keyboardist Yoshiki, blends metal-infused guitars with melodic choruses that combine to create memorable anthems.

X Japan are currently in the studio recording a full album in English. Check out the video for their current U.S. single, the epic song 'Jade,' below.

To help out the flood victims in Thailand, X Japan have donated a number of items for a charity auction taking place through Dec. 23. Fans interested in helping out a good cause can place their bids here.
