Guitar great Yngwie Malsteen is set to bring his blistering stage presence to concert venues around North America in the coming months.

Malmsteen has announced his "World on Fire" tour, which will find the guitarist backed by his ensemble of top-tier musicians performing pieces from throughout his music career, all the way up to his most recent effort World on Fire.

Malmsteen last toured stateside in 2016 on the "Generation Axe" tour alongside Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi. Now he's ready to set the stage on fire again, with dates beginning May 5 in Sayreville, N.J. at the Starland Ballroom. The trek starts moving westward, dipping into the Montreal for the lone Canadian stop, before jumping back into the Midwest and eventually out to the West Coast. Before the run is done, the tour will head back eastward, wrapping up on June 10 in Houston.
