There has been some recent talk about a Pantera reunion, but so far that's only talk and not a reality. But if it were to happen, drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott recently revealed that Zakk Wylde would be his choice to replace his late brother Dimebag Darrell for such an event.

When told of those comments, Wylde answered to Billboard.com, "I love all those guys. It would be an honor. How could I say no? I'd do my best to make them proud." Vinnie Paul stated in a recent interview that Wylde and Dimebag were really tight and that it would make sense for him to take part, but out of respect for his brother he feels that Pantera's legacy should be left alone.

Singer Philip Anselmo had his own take on the Wylde question, revealing that wasn't "too sold" on the idea, as there would have to be a lot of things hashed out before even getting to the reunion point. He does say, "It would be tough not to see Dimebag on stage to my left. I would feel naked."

Whether a Pantera reunion ever comes about or not, Zakk has plenty to keep himself busy. He's written a book titled 'Bringing Metal to the Children: The Complete Berzerker's Guide to World Tour Domination,' and he's heading overseas this summer to play as part of the 'Ozzy and Friends' shows.
