No. 16: 3 Doors Down, ‘Kryptonite’ – Top 21st Century Hard Rock Songs

3 Doors Down were the little band from Escatawpa, Mississippi that were ready to take the music world by storm in 2000, much like the superhero referenced in their breakout single, 'Kryptonite.'

It's hard to imagine that singer Brad Arnold penned the track while sitting in a math class at age 15. The song was the first of four singles from 'The Better Life' album and started the band on a successful career with plenty more hits to follow.
