Black Veil Brides Duo Score Best Guitarist Award at 2012 Revolver Golden Gods

The first honor to be handed out at the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards in Los Angeles on April 11 was for 'Best Guitarist.'

Taking the stage to announce the nominees and winner were two of the best in the biz - Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society and Billy Duffy of the Cult. Duffy, somewhat shrouded by Zakk's larger than life personality, sat back while Wylde listed the nominees: Jinxx and Jake Pitts of Black Veil Brides, Zoltan Bathory and Jason Hook of Five Finger Death Punch, Willie Adler and Mark Morton of Lamb of God, Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel of Machine Head, Dave Mustaine and Chris Broderick of Megadeth and Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu of Trivium.

A veritable goldmine of six-string masters, all of the nominees were deserving so the win was truly up for grabs, but with the vote left up to fans, the Black Veil Brides Army rose up and crowned Jinxx and Jake Pitts the winners. Duffy announced their victory, calling the duo on to the stage, "Jinxx and Jake Pitts of Black Veil Brides, you are going to be happy men in manscara!"

Dressed in their best award show warpaint, Jinxx and Jake Pitts kept their remarks short and sweet expressing gratitude toward their families, and a special shout out to BVB army - "You guys rule!"
