Bleed From Within, ‘Uprising’ – Exclusive Album Stream

'Uprising,' the third album from Scottish metal band Bleed From Within is set to be unleashed on April 2, but you can listen to it now. Loudwire has teamed up with the band and Century Media Records to exclusively stream the album in its entirety (listen below).

Bleed From Within are already generating a lot of buzz in Europe, and have garnered a Best New Band nomination in the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2013 awards. They have signed with Century Media Records and are ready to conquer North America, as well.

“I don’t want to slag anyone off, but we never wanted to be part of some trendy scene,” says frontman Scott Kennedy. “We’re a metal band, pure and simple. The first two albums were good but maybe we didn’t get our message across to as many people as we should have done. Everything’s been building up towards this new one. This is the album we always wanted to make.”

'Uprising' had an all-star production team of Martyn ‘Ginge’ Ford (Bullet for My Valentine, Trivium), Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (Periphery) and Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral for a Friend, Sylosis), and the album was mixed and mastered by Logan Mader (Gojira). It also includes guest vocals from Cancer Bats / AxeWound frontman Liam Cormier on "The War Around Us."

“We’re all so f---ing happy with this record, man,” adds Kennedy. “It’s a massive adrenaline rush from beginning to end. We always knew we were capable of something this good but this is the first time we’ve really achieved the best possible result. I think it proves you can make a great metal album without using gimmicks or trying to win over the trendy hardcore kids. This is an album for metalheads like us.”

Bleed From Within are in the midst of a European tour with Testament and Shadows Fall, and will embark on a UK headlining run beginning April 16.
