Late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton has been dominating every matchup in our Greatest Metal Bassist bracket. Burton smashed Napalm Death's Shane Embury and Symphony X's Michael LePond before knocking out fellow 'Big 4' legend David Ellefson from Megadeth. Will Burton make it to the final round?

Perhaps the most prolific heavy metal bassist of all time, Iron Maiden's Steve Harris has been on a streak of dominance very similar to that of Cliff Burton. In Round 1, Harris took down Helloween low-ender Markus Grosskopf before beating Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx in Round 2. With yet another victory over late Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, Harris advances to the semifinals.
