With a stunning and epic orchestral lead written by former Dimmu Borgir member Mustis and performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, 'Progenies of the Great Apocalypse' is perhaps the most heavily played black metal song of the 2000s.

Released on the band's landmark 2003 album, 'Death Cult Armageddon,' 'Progenies' has been featured on various soundtracks and showcases guest vocals by Immortal frontman Abbath. Although many black metal purists have dismissed Dimmu Borgir, 'Progenies' is an undeniably exceptional track.
