Industrial metal pioneers Fear Factory will unleash their latest album Genexus on Aug. 7. The first single from the disc is called "Soul Hacker," and you can check out the lyric video for the track above.

Guitarist Dino Cazares says, “We chose the song ‘Soul Hacker’ for the first single ’cause it’s heavy, catchy and has a lot of groove. You can really hear the aggression in Burt’s vocals on this one, not to mention on the entire album. We think people are really going to love this song and record; it’s super varied, melodic, aggressive and heavy.”

Fear Factory recently had a lineup change, with bassist Tony Campos (Soulfly, Static-X) coming aboard. Genexus is their ninth studio album, and was co-produced by Cazares and vocalist Burton C. Bell along with longtime collaborator/producer Rhys Fulber.

The band is set to embark on a summer tour with Coal Chamber. Saint Ridley and Madlife will be along for the whole trek, with Jasta and Devil You Know set to play select dates. The tour kicks off July 24 in Tucson, Ariz.

Fear Factory are also set to play Amnesia Fest in Montebello, Canada on June 20 followed by numerous European shows and festivals before returning for the Coal Chamber tour. For all their dates, go here.
