Five Finger Death Punch are set to unleash their most ambitious release to date, the double-album 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell,' with 'Volume 1' arriving on July 30. As anticipation builds for the first disc, 5FDP have teamed up with Loudwire and Noisecreep to premiere the first of a track-by-track webisode series.

In this webisode, singer Ivan Moody and drummer Jeremy Spencer talk about the decision to release a double album this year, citing an abundance of material that poured out of them. "We realized we were sitting on 24 or 25 tracks of music," explains Moody. "We have two choices at this point. We can shelve a lot of it and put it off for the next album or this album or this that and the other, or we can just make a double album."

Moody and Spencer go on to talk about two of the tracks off the album - 'Watch You Bleed and 'You.' As for the intense 'Watch You Bleed,' Spencer says, "It starts out with this acoustic intro and then [Ivan] has this hellacious scream." Meanwhile, Moody describes 'You' as "one of the most brutal songs we've done since 'Way of the Fist.'"

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory and bassist Chris Kael also chime in, with Bathory marveling at the speed of Moody's lyric delivery in 'You' and Kael also calling the song a return to the 'Way of the Fist' sound.

'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1' hits stores on July 30. Starting today, the album is available for pre-order at iTunes and Amazon. 'Volume 2' is set to arrive in the fall. Also be sure to catch 5FDP co-headlining this year's Mayhem Festival with Rob Zombie.
