It Lies Within Featuring Telle Smith, ‘Never Surrender’ – Exclusive Song Premiere

It's time to unleash some new music from It Lies Within. The band is teaming to Loudwire to give you your first listen to "Never Surrender" from their upcoming Paramount album. The track features guest vocals from The Word Alive's Telle Smith.

Opening with glitchy electronic guitars, propulsive drums, high energy guitar noodling and in-your-face rough vocals, it doesn't take long for "Never Surrender" to grab your attention. Add in some nifty keyboard work and melodic vocals and you'll soon be hooked.

"This is one of the first songs we wrote for our upcoming album Paramount," says vocalist Zachary Scott. "It definitely captivates the new sound and maturity of the band. Having Telle Smith be a part of this transition was amazing. We will NEVER SURRENDER!!!"

The disc, titled Paramount, is due Jan. 8 via Luxor Records. Just last month, the band issued a video for "Ecdysis" in advance of the release and now we get "Never Surrender" as well. Fans can also look for Fit for a King's Ryan Kirby and The Browning's Jonny McBee making guest appearances on the album. The disc is available for digital pre-order via iTunes and in a variety of bundle options at this location.

It Lies Within are in the home stretch of their 2015 touring. They have dates remaining in Lemonyne, Pa. this Friday (Dec. 18, The Champ), Williamsport, Pa. on Saturday (Dec. 19, Ground Floor) and Chesterfield, Mich. on Sunday (Dec. 20, Diesel Concert Lounge).
