Two very different stickmen face off in this quarterfinal matchup of the Greatest Metal Drummer tournament, as Slipknot's Joey Jordison goes head to head with Tool's Danny Carey.

Joey Jordison is one of modern metal's most beloved drummers, as he combines skillful technique with sheer power. Jordison has taken down Nile's George Kollias and Meshuggah's Toman Haake en route to reaching the quarterfinals. But he has some really tough competition in the quarterfinals in Danny Carey!

Tool drummer Danny Carey is a master of his craft, playing some of the most complex drum tracks known to the metal world. Carey has had an impressive run in this tournament, taking down Mastodon's Brann Dailor in Round 1, followed by a hard-fought victory against Dream Theater stickman Mike Mangini in Round 2. But now he'll have to deal with legions of Slipknot fans in the quarterfinal round!
