Judas Priest are set to unleash their newest album, 'Redeemer of Souls,' on July 15, and have already shared the title track with their fans. Now, Loudwire brings you an exclusive preview of the disc's first official single, 'March of the Damned' (watch and listen above).

We recently had the opportunity to listen to the entire 'Redeemer of Souls' album prior to interviewing the band, and let's just say fans are in for a treat from the Metal Gods. The word "epic" is thrown around too often in the world of music, but Judas Priest's new album 'Redeemer of Souls' is, in fact, truly epic. From Rob Halford's powerful vocals to Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner's monster riffs and soaring guitar solos, 'Redeemer of Souls' takes listeners on a fantastical metal journey from beginning to end.

As for the song 'March of the Damned,' Halford tells us, "I'm a huge fan of 'The Walking Dead' -- I can't get enough of the show. [While the song is] not about zombies, it's a bit of a twist on that. When I heard Richie's riff, it's rhythmic and it invokes marching." He adds that the track "has some of the elements we had with 'British Steel.'"

Stay tuned for much more from our interview with Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, as well as a must-see 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' episode featuring Judas Priest.
