All you needed to hear in 1994 was the opening guitar licks and power drumming of 'Blind' to know that Korn was going to be the next big thing in rock. The California outfit with the brutal sound and the "cookie monster" vocals emerged as leaders of a new pack.

Luckily, the band was able to back up the success of their debut single, generating such live favorites as 'Shoots and Ladders,' 'Need To' and 'Clown.' The group definitely struck a chord with hard rock and metal fans looking for something new than the grunge movement that had dominated radio for several years.
