Metallica are arguably the biggest metal band on the planet, but that doesn't stop James and the gang from enjoying the simple things in life -- namely, bacon. The band reportedly noted that bacon was "very important" and should be available for every meal of the day.

The band also required a $5,000,000 insurance policy per gig, alcohol not to be served before or during the show and a total of 16 banquet tables ranging from six to eight feet long for backstage during their 2004 arena tour.
