Summer Slaughter

Last night (July 30) the Summer Slaughter tour at the Ritz Theatre in Ybor City, Fla. was evacuated after police were tipped-off about violent threats being made in the venue. One thousand people were evacuated from the building for close to two hours while police investigated.

It was announced a couple months ago that Cannibal Corpse and Between the Buried and Me would be headlining the 6th annual Summer Slaughter Tour, and now the dates for the 2012 trek have been released.

The metal gods have smiled upon us once again with yet another awesome tour. Death metal pioneers Cannibal Corpse and tech-death virtuosos Between the Buried and Me have been officially confirmed to headline the 2012 Summer Slaughter Tour.
