There's nothing like seeing your favorite bands in an intimate venue, and if you're a fan of Taking Back Sunday, you'll get that chance this fall. The band is heading indoors to play clubs as they start support of their Tidal Wave album.

"Our idea is to go to the smallest clubs we can get to," singer Adam Lazzara told Entertainment Weekly. "We’d like to debut this record as honestly as we can and what better way to do that in a small club? Outside of a week there in the middle, it’s a two band bill, so we’re going to have to play for a long time." The trek will feature You Blew It as direct support on all but two dates, with Loose Talk taking over on Oct. 8 and 9. Mammoth Indigo will serve as the opening act on dates between Oct. 5-11.

As stated, the band is building up to the release of their new album Tidal Wave. The disc will be released on Sept. 16 via Hopeless Records. The tour kicks off Sept. 17 in Omaha, Neb., and runs through Oct. 20 in Los Angeles.

Guitarist John Nolan told New York's Newsday, "I’m very excited for people to hear it. I think it’s going to be a surprise to some people. We’re all extremely excited about what we’ve done. It’s the culmination of things we’ve tried over the past two records. I think it’s the strongest record we’ve done since getting back together. We’ve freed ourselves up to go in new directions."

Taking Back Sunday's Tidal Wave is available to pre-order at this location.
