When you listen to the Dillinger Escape Plan, you may think, "How the hell did human beings create these songs?" After releasing the landmark 'Calculating Infinity' album in 1999, vocalist Dimitri Minakakis left the group, along with some big shoes to fill.

In 2002, the Dillinger Escape Plan unleashed the 'Irony is a Dead Scene' EP with a surprise vocalist in Faith No More legend Mike Patton, who sang on the entire EP.
