It's a long road to recovery for the members of The Ghost Inside as they continue to deal with assorted injuries causes by a November bus crash with another vehicle that killed both drivers. Several members of the band have offered updates on their recoveries, but drummer Andrew Tkaczyk just unveiled some news that he hoped not to pass along. He's lost his right leg as a result of his injuries.

In an Instagram posting, Tkaczyk, who has been in the hospital since the crash, delivered the news. Read on below:

So the rumors are true everyone! Unfortunately I did lose my leg in this accident. This is one injury among many others such as fractures in my ribs, spine, and hip along with some ligament tears in my rotator cuff and Labrum. I have remained in positive and good spirits since I woke up from a 10 day coma in November to the sight of my missing leg. Not going to let it stop me. I don't care what anyone says. It's a long road ahead, but I WILL play drums again. Can't wait to get back on the kit. Couldn't have dealt with this without the love and support from my brothers in TGI & crew, friends, fans and family. Thank you all.

In addition to Tkaczyk, Jonathan Vigil and Zach Johnson both recently posted updates on their status. Vigil showed himself in hospital scrubs with the comment, "Scars on my head, a fracture on my neck, a wound on my back, skin graft right elbow and two broken ankles. I'm here." Johnson, meanwhile, revealed that he was undergoing his eighth surgery in a Jan. 11 posting and that he hoped it would be his last.

Shortly after the accident, a GoFundMe page was set up to help offset the band's medical bills. Fans have already helped the band surpass the $150,00 goal, but donations are still being taken. In addition, the band's label, Epitaph Records, stated that they'd be giving the band all proceeds from their record sales for the foreseeable future. You can buy their albums here.
