Fans Can’t Get ‘Enough’ of A Day to Remember in New York City
Florida rockers A Day to Remember took New York City fans by storm last night (March. 26) with a vigorous set at the Best Buy Theater.
After a System of a Down ‘Chop Suey’ sing along in between sets, A Day to Remember took the stage and numerous crowd surfers came and went as the band had fans singing, bouncing and going nuts all throughout. The band kicked off their set with the new track ‘Violence (Enough Is Enough)’off of their upcoming album ‘Common Courtesy.’
The musky heat and smell of sweat, pot and adrenaline filled the Best Buy Theater — in other words, it played like an indoor version of the Warped Tour — but fans stayed rowdy and the band continued to deliver a forceful performance.
A Day to Remember also performed favorites such as ‘2nd Sucks’ ‘You Should have Killed Me When You Had the Chance’ ‘Have Faith In Me,’ ‘All I Want’ and ‘The Downfall of Us All’ among others. Fans were also treated to acoustic versions of ‘It’s Complicated’ and ‘If It Means a Lot To You.’
Of Mice and Men served as support as did the Parisians of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk who opened up the show with a stellar set. The latter band even performed a heavy cover of Kesha’s ‘We R Who We R,’ which the crowd seemed to dig.
