Congrats are in order for Motley Crue's 'Wild Side,' which has now been officially retired after reaching the Loudwire Classic Cage Match Hall of Fame with five straight victories. With their run through 1987 complete, we now move on to two other well known bands and another year -- 1980.

In one corner we've got AC/DC, who were at a key point in their career with Brian Johnson taking over vocals for the late Bon Scott. 1980 was the year they released 'Back in Black' and the title track off that album is a fitting anthem that showed they were not only here to stay, but were ready to take over the rock universe.

Meanwhile, over in England, British metal outfit Motorhead were just about to hit upon the biggest song of their career! 'Ace of Spades' off the album of the same name dropped in 1980 and immediately started blowing up speakers everywhere with its hard-driving licks. It remains a metal staple today.

There's no denying it! This is one powerhouse matchup. So who will you vote for -- AC/DC's 'Back in Black' or Motorhead's 'Ace of Spades'? Listen to both songs at full volume in the players below and then make your vote count.

(This Cage Match will run until Friday, March 28, at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

AC/DC, 'Back in Black'

Motorhead, 'Ace of Spades'

Rules of Classic Cage Match:

Classic Cage Match songs must be at least 10 years old. Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a band remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, they are entered into the Loudwire Classic Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
