Ace Frehley turns 67 years old today, but it’s the KISS legend who’s giving out the presents, as he’s shared the brand new song, “Bronx Boy.”

“Bronx Boy” is Frehley’s first new original track since releasing his Space Invader album in 2014. Space Invader turned out to be Frehley’s most successful solo album since his 1978 eponymous release, selling over 50,000 copies and reaching No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.

“Bronx Boy” is a straight-up rocker with some smooth guitar work from the Spaceman. Ace sings about his days as a “street kid” in the Bronx, throwing back to his time with the Ducky Boys gang. Of course, Frehley rips a killer solo at just the right spot.

Frehley has also announced the upcoming release of a new album, but details are currently scarce. The album’s title, artwork and street date have yet to be unveiled, but Frehley does promise a release sometime this summer.
