Alleluia! The team behind The Devil's Carnival is back with a brand new film and they've hooked up with Loudwire to give you a glimpse at the opening song "Shovel and Bone" from Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival. A traveling road show tour will take place over the next few months coinciding with the new film.

Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival is imagined by the team of celebrated film director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, and IV) and writer-actor Terrance Zdunich -- who also collaborated on musical cult films Repo! The Genetic Opera and the original The Devil’s Carnival. Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival is produced by Sean E. DeMott for Execution Style Productions, Chris Bonifay for Limb from Limb and Chang Tseng, and executive producer Brian Perera for Cleopatra. The music and lyrics for the film were composed by Saar Hendelman and Terrance Zdunich.

Zdunich, along with actors Paul Sorvino, David Hasselhoff, Adam Pascal, Dayton Callie, Briana Evigan and Barry Bostwick are taking part in the new film alongside such talented musicians as Emilie Autumn, Tech N9ne, We Are Harlot's Danny Worsnop, Butcher Babies' Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey, Skinny Puppy's Ogre and Mindless Self Indulgence's Jimmy Urine.

In the new film, Lucifer (Zdunich) incites Heaven's wrath by dispatching train cars full of condemned souls crashing through the pearly gates. God (Sorvino) responds by sending his top negotiator (Pascal) for a trip down to The Carnival to put an end to the rebellious deeds.

As for the traveling road show, each evening the Alleluia! Tour will start with a live, local and little opening act, followed by an introduction to the evening by director Darren Lynn Bousman and writer-actor Terrance Zdunich. A screening of the film follows with a live audience Q&A session with the filmmakers concluding the night. See more clips with some of the participating artists talking about the film below.
