Art of Anarchy Summer 2017 U.S. Tour Dates Announced
Art of Anarchy have announced tour dates in support of their latest album, The Madness. The trek, dubbed "The Madness Tour," will kick off on July 15 in Clarksville, Tenn., at the Warehouse and will conclude on Aug. 12 at America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs, Colo.
This year marks the first major headlining tour for Art of Anarchy, which initially included Scott Weiland on vocals. Weiland had no interest in touring with the band even though he sang on their first album, leaving the group to look elsewhere after the disc's release. The Madness is the second album for the band, and the first with Scott Stapp handling vocals.
Speaking earlier this year about the idea of touring with the band, Stapp told us, "Everything came together at a time where this record did become a very therapeutic process for me. Looking back at all the records I’ve ever done, they’ve always had that element in them. But this one in particular was very therapeutic for me. I’m really glad to have had the opportunity to express myself and get this out there and then move forward. I’m very proud of this record, I’m proud of what we did. Man, as a band just getting together and hardly knowing each other and really learning and getting to know each other during the process of creation. It was a very unique experience."
