Earlier this year Metal Blade Records celebrated their 30th anniversary at SXSW in Austin, Texas, with a packed showcase and now Metal Blade continues the party by teaming up with Metal Wreckage to give fans a free As I Lay Dying show in New York City on Sept. 25.

This event is offering fans the chance to attend a private CD Release show for As I Lay Dying, whose new disc ‘Awakened’ drops the same day. This performance marks the band’s first show since their run on this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.

Also, starting Sept. 14, fans can pre-order ‘Awakened’ at three New York-area independent record stores and receive a free laminate that gives you access into the private NYC release show! Stores participating are: Looney Tunes (West Babylon, NY), Vintage Vinyl (Fords, NJ), and J&R (NYC).

As I Lay Dying will also join Trivium on a massive European Trek starting on Oct. 15. For a full list of dates and countries, go here.

Fans can catch the free NYC gig on Sept. 25 at Santos Party House.
